How to change active partition to inactive

Hello,
I used partition magic program with my Win-Xp to make a new partition of my hard disk then I used Acronis to restore an image harddisk on this new parition ,but I select by mistake this partition to be Active so now I have two active partitions then the computer is not booting as there are two active partitions. Is there any way to solve this problem??and to return the new partition to be logical not active partition??

If you can't boot, simplest solution is to slave that drive in another system, or put it in a USB enclosure on another system and delete that 2nd partition.
