Switching between bluetooth audio and PC spweakers

I have installed a bluetooth headset on my desktop having Windows XP, SP3 successfully and my bluetooth headset is working fine. But when I want the audio from desktop speakers, I am not getting audio from the speakers after the headset is disconnected. What should I do. Can somebody help!

Pretty sure that is hardware controlled IE, when you plug in the headset, it pushes a contact so that audio does not go to speakers. Possibly that contact is not reset when jack is removed ? ?

I doubt it is software, but you could check after you remove headset jack if the Windows Audio service is still running.
