Hi I'm buying a Dell XPS Laptop, Dell says it will power the 3008 at native resolution of 2560x1600...there's no dual DVI but there's DisplayPort for the output. But I'm wondering how much muscle this system will be able to provide on games and such. Thanks for any advice!

Yes it will display fine but no hope in hell of playing games.

Yeah I just saw some benchmarks, it looks like the HD 4670 is a nice chip but not powerful enough. It's about $1,200 more for the Sli -powered M17x, but I don't like the Alienware logo and I will use this laptop for business.

I think it will be most efficient to buy a console for gaming if I get the urge for shooting games.
