APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: this week BUDGET RANGE: Around 900

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: GAMING, multimedia, office

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, monitor, mouse

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: only newegg because purchasing through billmelater

PARTS PREFERENCES: I5 or I7 build(doubtful at my budget)

OVERCLOCKING: Yes SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Motherboard should have both options

MONITOR RESOLUTION: My monitor resolution is 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I have done alot of reading and have come up with this within my current budget. Any recommendations or changes you would make?

You can get a cheaper mobo such as this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813128400

Also, if your planning to add a second GPU in the future, you might want to bump up the PSU to 750W.

Do you have an OS?

Well the reason I got the more expensive MOBO is cause of the combo making it the same price as the one you pointed out. and I will definitely look into changing the PSU to 750W...I have windows 7...anything you think i should reconsider?

That RAM isn't the best match for your system. The maximum RAM voltage supported by the i5 CPU is 1.65v. That RAM is rated to run at up to 1.8v which will damage your CPU. It also has a pretty slow CAS 9 rating. This combo costs $9 more, but is CAS 7 DDR3 1600 RAM rated at 1.65v.
