I just purchased a Gateway SX2800-03 slimline, and when I tried to connect it to my Samsung 2232GW 22-inch monitor via the rear VGA port, the monitor did not recognize that there was a computer hooked up to it. The monitor still works flawlessly with my Wii (which I use a vdigi wii-to-vga cable for) and my Dell Dimension 2400, which I use the VGA cable that came with the monitor for.

Question: How do I fix this problem?
