WIn7 32bit and DVD drive letter missing
Last response: in Storage
My dvd shows in device mgr. but isn't recognized by computer. If I put Win 7 disk and boot up to dvd it will go to Win 7 disk.

See if it is detected in Disk Management. (windows logo key + r, type in diskmgmt.msc)
If it is detected, but there is no letter assigned then you can assign one by right clicking on the drive and selecting "Change Drive Letter and Paths". Then click "Add" and select a drive letter from the drop down menu.
