Hi guys! Im looking for a laptop that can handle Lord of the rings online as high up as I can get it on Dx10 under $900. So far Im looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 834157020. Im running a AMD 1.9 64x2 with a hd 2600 and I can only run it on med/low dx9 with a consistant frame rate but i dont want to spend $900 on somthing only slightly better for close to a grand :heink: Any advice from anyone would be GREATLY appreciated thankyou guys!!! :wahoo:

The page that links to has I think 9 laptops on it and only the over $1000 one has a discreet graphics processor and thats a Mobility 4650. Laptops just are not powerful enough for gaming at that price point.
The one good thing is thats an older game. I really am not sure how good it would run with onboard graphics though. Something with a discreet card would play it quite well.

The link I posted was deleted about 30 min after I posted it sadly but I do have to say Good Lookin Out!!! to hibyprime! Wow I cant believe I missed this thing http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 834220566. Is this 240gt realy a replacment for a 9800gt? If so this is getting ordered the second I get a response. Any info or exp with this graphics card please let me know

The desktop version GT240 supports DX10.1, so it isn't a direct copy of the 9800gt - but performance wise it should be the same. I'm assuming the laptop cards follow suit here.

Edit: Looked at anorts link, it's a copy of the 9700m. The 9800m should be just slightly faster.
