M4a89gtd pro/usb3 express gate problem

Hey guys, I don't know why but for some reason my motherboard will not boot up express gate, iv tryed installing it over again but with no use. Iv gone through all the "troubleshooting" but i don't have any problems with it while its on, or booting up.. it just doesnt. Might be something simple that im over looking but I figured id ask here.

Express gate will not work if your drives are setup in AHCI mode. Check your bios to see if AHCI is enabled or not if it is express gate will not work.

I have express gate and i find it incredibly useless for most of us we leave our computers on all the time and in my case i just put it to sleep whenever i am not useing it. It is quicker to wake up from sleep then it is to load express gate.
