Hey first post! Hope its in the right place. :)

I am hopeing people can point me in the direction of a good gaming monitor. Right now i am useing a 720p 23" TV and it is really starting to bother me. Many thing pixelated, and the refresh rate seems sloppy.

Bottom line is i need a new one. I would like for it to be...

-LED backlight
-22"+
-DVI, Svideo or HDMI... NO Blue PC slot!
-Lower respose time the better!
-Can spend around $400. (If there is a "You gotta get this" for more, post it!)
-120hz refresh rate if it exists in LED.

Thanks for the help!

well, start here and see if theres anything you like:

Also, the refresh rate doesnt really apply to LCD's, mainly the response time. What matters is how quickly the monitor can go from, say black to full color and back, usually measured in ms. Many monitors boast 2ms response times, but they are from gray to gray, not say black to color and back.

I just bought this one this summer:

It features a 5ms response time, I think which is black-color-black. Overall very nice monitor, full 1080P, DVI-VGA-HDMI, not LED backlit, but very nice. Currently, my settings for contrast and brightness are both at 25%. When 100%, it is too bright to look at in full light.

Here's a nice 24", with LED backlight, no DVI but HDMI, not sure where you can get it, but very new.

the samsung looks like a pretty nice monitor as well, especially since it has so many inputs
