Hi all,
I have an SSD with Windows and all apps running from it. I use a pair of Samsung F3s in RAID 1 for all storage.
When I go to access the RAID drives they both spin up, then spin up again and again and again. It only happens when I try and access the drives. After a little while of no use they go quite again.
I have disabled indexing on the RAID to no effect and have adjusted the power saving feature in Windows for the hard drives to turn off after 60min instead of 20min, to no real effect.
Any ideas?
