Hello,

I installed XP on my 2nd drive in a primary partitions while the 1st drive was disconnected. Plugged back in the 1st drive then installed OSL2000 boot manager. First drive also has XP on it. When booting directly into the 2nd drive's XP I can access all the drives & partitions in the system. When booting into the first drive I can also access all the drives in the system. When I boot into the 2nd drive using the boot manager OSL2000, I can't access the primary partitions from the first drive.

Also, if I put an extra entry in boot.ini for the 2nd drive and boot from xp's boot manager I can access all the drives.
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="XP Disk1" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn /usepmtimer
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="XP Disk 2" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn /usepmtimer

This setup is a fairly common one with having 2 disks and wanting to boot from either of them and retain the C: drive on each boot. I must have something wrong here. Any ideas?

Thanks
