Mobility raedon HD 2600 not being detected after re-installation

I am have a toshiba satellite A200 series laptop which came with an ATI mobility raedon HD 2600. While i was playin batman arkham asylum the display got corrupted so i decided to update all the drivers. I first uninstalled all the drivers, used device manager and uninstalled the display driver also used driver sweeper to remove all ATI display drivers. Now when i try to install the new drivers nothin is happening when i check device manager it is showing only standard VGA graphics adapter. I have tried installing the old drivers again but still nothing is comin. How do i solve this how do i get the card to work again. I have windows vista home premium 32 bit.
