Can't see DVD drive in BIOS or My Computer

Hello,I have a BIOSTAR motherboard and SATA hard drive and IDE cd rom...can't see DVD drive in my computer and BIOS only shows SATA HDD and Floppy in boot devices..PLEASE Help!(I recently in Virtual Clone drive to mount CD/DVD image...I have now uminstalled it but it still cant see DVD drive..and I have also checked registry ..it soean't show upper or lower filters that I was supposed to delete after installation.)

Have you done simple things like reseating cables and trying the drive in another machine to see if it is broken?

Has this motherboard ever seen this drive before? In some rare combinations, the controller port has to be set to legacy IDE, but this is rare.
