Hi All,

Do any of you know if I can connect my Sony Vaio laptop using its VGA port to my Samsung LCD TV using its hdmi port? The TV has a VGA port, but its mounted and one of the brackets on the mount is blocking the port. Any input is much appreciated.

Thanks

Converting VGA analog signal to HDMI digital is a complex signal processing task, and I don't know if you can buy a conversion box to do the job well. Your best move would be to fix the mounting system so you can use the VGA input port. The only other route I can think of is buying an external video "card" for your laptop that provides a real HDMI output.
