APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Within two months or early january 2010.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming, video editing, programming, multitasking, surfing the internet, watching movies.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, speakers ( Would be nice to get new ones but not really important )

PARTS PREFERENCES: I would like to use an AMD CPU & Mobo that supports ddr3 ram

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe.

CROSSFIRE: Yes.

Considering you won't be buying this for a while, get Windows 7 instead of Vista.
Especially for that price, there are better coolers than the Zalman. Check out www.Frostytech.com for reviews and some top-10 lists.
