ok this is gonna sound like a silly question guys but ive just bought my last component for my basic pc build that being a gainward 8400gs video card now this will sound silly but i cant find any connection on it to fit to my power supply?ive looked at instructions and where it shows to connect to the psu there is nothing there? all i can do is push it into the pci e 16 slot and connect an spdif cable from card to motherboard but no cable or connection from videocard to psu? confused totally

Not all graphic cards require additional power from the power supply. Lower-end cards and some mid-range cards draw all the power they need from the PCI-E slot.
