Hello guys,

I have a doubt, basically I'm a gamer and I currently have a 1TB barracuda 7200.11. I'm thinking about buy a new HD because I need more storage and I just care about the gaming FPS and not load times, with that said what should I do?:

1) I know that the Momentus XT will improve my load times however, Will the Seagate Momentus XT give me a good gaming performance (basically meaning FPS)?
2) Should I get the 7200.12 barracuda instead of the Momentus XT to fit my gaming storage needs?

Thanks a lot.

No. Changing your hard drive won't change your FPS. Load times, yes, as you say, but not FPS. A Momentus XT won't help. An SSD won't help. Sorry!

I hope you've flashed the firmware on that 7200.11 because you wouldn't want it self-bricking on you.
