I'm an ati kind of guy and seeing as I checked newegg in hopes of ordering a new graphics card (4890) I noticed there was directX11.

Is there any "big" improvement between directX10 and directX11? Would it be better just to wait 2 months to christmas to buy a new DX11 card?

Also on a side note, will a AMD Phenom II 945 (125 watt) 2gigs of ddr3 1600mhz, dvd drive, 3 fans, 1 hard drive, AND a one of the newer ati cards (4850+) be able to run fine on a 600 watt power supply, 2 12 volt rails?

Would upgrading the power supply be needed?

Best Regards,

Well the best way to look at it...if you can wait another 2 months before buying, then do that. You will definitely save money that way. Once it gets closer to that time, then you can worry about the details like dx11 and psu needs.
