The motherboard you picked should be a good one.

You should be able to 3xCrossfire those on the 850HX without any worries. It has 6 PCIE connectors and 70 amps on the 12v rail. The 1000HX has twin 40amp rails so the 850 may handle 3 GPUs better.

Thanks, that saves a few bucks, but does the difference between the corsair 850hx and the 850tx warrant the price difference? I know that one is modular, but is there any other difference/would you recommend a modular?

Yeah, that case seems pretty nice... and it looks like it could eat small children. Thanks, the last build I did was for a buddy of mine a while ago and had a q9550 and a 285 in it. Cost about as much as this one and im hoping for A LOT more bang for the buck. Oh crud one more thing. What after market cooler would any of you guys recommend. Once again I "plan" on hitting 4ghz with the i7 920. Thanks for the advice.

if you want the best
megahalems

however there are cheaper alternatives ($30-40 less, assuming you get a nice fan with the megahalems) which will run 4-6 degrees hotter

One: I would change your motherboard to EVGA X758-TR SLI (x16,x16,x8) motherboard. This board has better SLI support.

Second: I would pick up the Thermalright TRUE Black Edition (newest one). The TRUE is still considered by many to be the best Air Cooler. As very close performer is the CoGaGe TRUE Spirit. Pretty much the same HSF bu at half the price. My favorite is the Xigmatek Dark Knight S1283V.
