I do occasionally gaming, but I don't need something extreme, like running crysis in max setting and asking 60fps. Need a video card that runs stable.

I was looking at the EVGA GTX260 non oc but the huge amounts of DOA reviews really scared me.

I live in a foreign country and if it arrives DOA, shipping it back is almost impossible.

What country and whats your budget in local currency and converted to USD, there are sites for just about every country out there. Proximon even has a list of them http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/269620-31-list#t1973705

Do you currently have a PSU? If you do please link to it because there are many PSUs that should not run a GTX260. For those resolutions however i would suggest switching to an ATI 4850, it will save you some money and XFX comes with a double lifetime warranty just make sure you register within 30 days.

I live in Panama...

Still don't have the PSU.

I come from a 8800GT which stopped working, it handled every single games i thrown at it just fine, do you think the 4850 performs better? Does Radeon cards run stable with i5? If yes, I could but it instead of the 260.
