SSD in a NAS/SAN?

I've been searching high and low, I'm finding it rather difficult to come out with a direct answer. I'm wondering if there are any nas or sans that will work fluently with an ssd.

I was looking at a 2.5 inch bay NAS http://www.qnap.com/pro_detail_feature.asp?p_id=124 But I can't help but think it was meant for those old 5400 RPM drives.

ideally I would REALLY appreciate if someone could shed some light on why I cannot find this information or why they do not seemingly have these products?

I just don't feel right buying an iSCSI SAN when I could do it with SSD's and I imagine yield better performance?

ANY advice or direction to go in would be greatly appreciate,

They provide the list of compatible SSDs. Click Compatibility, 2.5" HDD and expand 2.5" Solid State Drives (SSD).
