So i recently bought an EVGA GTX 260 core 216 55nm and installed EVGA precision overclocking utility..I then found out the default clock speeds for the gtx 260 were: Core-576 Mhz and Mem-999 Mhz but mine read as : Core-626 Mhz and Mem-1053 Mhz i even went to check on GPU-z and it said my clocks were default just like the superclocked version..Is it possible that the manufacturer screwed up and put a superclocked version in my box or am i just being a goof possibly cause it could be of the new drivers???

Lots of cards come factory overclocked, some don't even specify very clearly. Your card is overclocked, but it may not actually be a superclocked card. Whatever that means. :heink:

Yes it happens sometimes :D one of another examples i saw is when 79xx series were launched and a guy bought a 7900GT but it was an OC'd version :D

It is not anything incredible, it happens sometimes and btw those values are easy to reach if you overclock the card yourself.

yea but lookin at my temps i idle at 45c do you think a manually OCd card could stay that cool and go up to 63c at load i bet it would be higher
