But the "meat" of uni was skilling your sims up to get good grade and
graduate from uni. Very dull. The extra items and actions are good. By
the sound of it Nightlife all items and actions which in my mind makes
it sound better then uni.

That flies directly in the face of what every sim fan out there says.

"Graphically there are a couple of issues. I've had Sims seem to
'quiver' in place, as if undecided what they should focus their
attention on. They still functioned normally so this bug wasn't a big
issue"

It's called espresso :-D

Every sim fan? I'm completely undecided as to whether or not I'll buy
Nightlife - for exactly the reasons cited in the quote. There's a lot
of sizzle in the expansion, but very little steak.

Yours and the reviewers are the only apprehensious opinions I've
heard. Everyone else has said how much meatier and cooler it is than
University.

A piece of jerky is meatier than University was, though. So is a
baloney sammich. <g> And I wouldn't pay nearly $40 for those, either.

Aww shucks, ya'll are so considerate ;-)

But seriously... many didn't like University, which I can understand,
but why Nightlife?

Exactly what DO you want from an EP? :)

We're not sims :)

I was exaggerating. I'm not less enthousiastic about NL (that sounds
really weird to my Dutch ears, by the way) than about University. It's
just... socialising has always been complex in Simsville, and I'm a
control freak. It's going to take time and work to understand those
things. Universities, I know :)

> Exactly what DO you want from an EP? :)

Survival Sim! Build your own house! Grown your own food! Pet cows!

But I'm in sheer bliss about the vampires.

They are us. We are them. Or parts of us are. That's why it's so funny
:-D

Hmm... if control is what you desire, I'm sure you can avoid things
you don't want, and that there will be lots of hacks for things you
can't.

>Survival Sim! Build your own house! Grown your own food! Pet cows!

Sims 2 Farmlife :-D (pets included)

>But I'm in sheer bliss about the vampires.

I'm in bliss, period :-D But you knew that already... hehe
