Hello,
My wireless seem's to be off, and i have no idea how to turn it back on! There is no switch that i can see, and the FN+F8 dosnt work, can somebody please help me?

Ah, the mystery L500D is actually A Tosh laptop -- so why did I have to Google that ?

If you've checked the manual for the position of any physical switch or for Fn key combo, I would go to Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager and check that the network adapters include an entry for your wireless adapter.

If not or if it is yellow flagged, download a new driver from Toshiba.

By, the way -- except in rural areas there are usually other wireless networks in the area and if working the laptop should detect them. If you simply can't find your own router the problem may lie with it.
