Hello, i have this problem with my graphics card, its a Sapphire HD 5670 1Gb GDDR5,
The problem is when i overclock it, it starts to malfunction, Ive tried everything: Ati Overdrive, Msi afterburner, Rbe and Riva tuner.
Nothing seems to work, whenever i overclock it even by 50Mhz both Gpu and Vram it malfunctions.
It cant be a temperature problem because Ive installed a Zalman VF1000 cooler on it and the temperature is 46 Celsius on full load and its not even the voltage because Ive tried to change it.
Please i need your help to overclock my graphics card.

Not all devices overclock equally, even devices of the same make/model. Many factors go into whether you can OC or to what degree. What are the specs for your system? Other than the GPU, what else are you OCing?

I'm also overclocking the Vram, the rest of my pc components are at stock speeds.
My specs are:

Mb: MSI Neo P45 F
Psu: Gembird CCC-PSU8X 600W
Cpu: Intel Core 2 duo E8600 @ 3.33Ghz
Ram: 4 Gb DDR2 @ 800Mhz
Vga: Sapphire HD5670 1Gb GDDR5 with Zalman VF1000 cooler
Hdd: Maxtor 250Gb SATA2

If you revert to stock, does everything stabilize?

When this happens, it is usually because of a problem with heat or power. It could also simply be that your particular HD5670 is just not up to the task.
