Operating System: who the hell cares?

let me know thanks :)

I know people will say wait for gtx 300, but the hell i dunno when its coming out and 3 months is toooooo long if it is in january

I'd say go for the 5870, but that is just me. It supports DX11. The only reason I wouldn't go to a GTX 285, and 2 of them at that, is they are not DX11 cards. Maybe get one, and then upgrade once Nvidia comes out with their new brew.

What res are you playing at? (2) 285's is ALOT of GPU power. What about a single 295? Just thoughts here.

OS? I care, Vista or 7 for DX10 games and future DX11.

I would be using my projector and mostly going 1900x1080 resolution!
