Am I Messing Up, with both Manual and SP set for the same ..

I have Andromedia on the SciFi Channel as a Season Pass and
set to record eight episodes on Mon morning. At the same time I
made a manual Time&Channel for the eight hours of these same
shows. It shows up fine on the "To Do List" as first the Manual
eight hour recording and then each individual episode previously
scheduled as part of the Season Pass.

So I guess both tuners will be on the same channel, ?Good?
Bad? Will it cause any problems?

Can/should I remove the individual episodes from the "To Do
List"?

Can the DirecTiVo (DSR7000/17) handle an eight hour
recording, without problems?

The whole reason for this is that individual episode
recordings made when they follow, one after the other,
often split at the wrong point. If I can do all eight as one
recording it will be easier to make the splits were I want
them.
