In-game sound problems

Really hope someone can help me. Lately I've been having problems with the sound of some in-game movies and intro movies of games. The sound echoes or is repeating for about 4 seconds and then jumps to get in-sync with the video and continues until the video is almost over when usually goes back to normal. The sound in the games is perfect and and I'm not having other problems out of games. I've noticed that this happens in games which have their in-game audio from movies in .bnk files. The games in which the problem appeared so far are Dragon age origins, Rise of the Argonauts, Call of duty World at War and Batman Arkham Asylum. Sound works perfect for Divinity 2, Call of duty Modern warfare:2, Left 4 dead 2. My system is and Intel Core 2 Duo At 2.4 each, 4gb ram, 9800GT with 512mb and the audio is an on-board realtek5.1 hd. If someone can help I'd be very grateful

I assume you've tried updating the drivers of your mobo's onboard audio?
