Budget: $1100 (This includes OS and Monitor, so $850 for hardware)

I've been building PCs on www.ecollegepc.com and I just wanted to know if anyone has bought a PC from these guys? Are they reliable, trustworthy etc? Some builds I have so far:

AMD:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2Ghz 6MB Cache FSB 4000MHz HT
AMD Heatsink and Fan Included
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO (AMD 790X, HDMI, DVI, 2xPCI-E, 8-Ch Audio, LAN, 6xSATA2, 4xDDR3, 1394)
4GB (2GBx2) PC3 12800 DDR3 1600Mhz Memory Lifetime Warranty
750GB 7200RPM 32MB Cache Serial ATA300 (Samsung)
22X LG Dual Layer DVD+/-RW/CDRW w/Nero
1GB GeForce GTS 250 GDDR3 PCI-E Dual-DVI (Major Brand)
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1 Windows 7 Upgrade Coupon
Acer 19in Black 1440x900 LCD Flat Panel Monitor 8ms Widescreen

600watt OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS

Standard 1 year parts and labor

Intel:

2.66Ghz Intel Core i5-750 8MB Cache Quad-Core
Stock Intel LGA775 Heatsink and Fan
GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2 (Intel P55, 2xPCI-E, 8-Ch Audio, LAN, 7xSATA2, 4xDDR3, 1394)
4GB (2GBx2) PC3 12800 DDR3 1600Mhz Memory Lifetime Warranty
750GB 7200RPM 32MB Cache Serial ATA300 (Samsung)
22X LG Dual Layer DVD+/-RW/CDRW w/Nero
1GB GeForce GTS 250 GDDR3 PCI-E Dual-DVI (Major Brand)
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1 Windows 7 Upgrade Coupon
Acer 19in Black 1440x900 LCD Flat Panel Monitor 8ms Widescreen
Raidmax Black Sagitta 2 (5 5.25, 5 3.5 bays) 2 Fans, Window, Front Audio/USB
600watt OCZ StealthXStream OCZ600SXS
Onboard LAN included
Onboard Sound included
Standard 1 year parts and labor

Which build is better and why? AMD vs Intel? I'm not a pro on CPUs, so how does a 2.66GHz i5 stack up against AMD Phenom II 3.2GHz? Which one would be more upgradeable in the future? Any and all other insight is welcome.

Thanks

^+1 for DIY. As far as their quality etc, goes. I don't know. Looks like some small builder. As for the PC specs, they look good. They didn't skimp on the PSU which means they know something about PCs most manufactures still don't seem to understand....

MK, can you take a second to look at the link in my sig, it will have a format and extra questions we need to give you the best answers we can. Without knowing what this rig will be used for, you won't get anything but fanboy answers.
