Video doent play on my labtop picxels are broken

neither vlc nor window media player is working ...no sound is coming on both....i have several times istalled drivers......vlc plays the video bt picsals are broken as much like not to play....would u plez help me

Run services.msc - Scroll down to Windows Audio service make sure it is set to automatic, double click to start.
