RAM Voltage - Dominator DDR3 Gigabyte mobo

I'm building my fist system and it actually came to life tonite! Well, the bios came up anyway. It seems to see all my memory and drives so I'm jazzed.

I'm using Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D memory at "default" mobo settings. The voltage is showing 1.5 volts. The memory is rated at 1.65V. Is undervoltaging ok until I figure out how to tweak memory?

I haven't made any changes to the BIOS setting cause I don't understand all the DRAM settings.

well you shouldn't worry about running it at 1.65v because your warranty's good with that number. just make sure that you select the RAM settings that correspond to half of what your RAM is rated at. in your case you're on 1600MHz so your RAM speed should be set to 800MHz@1.65v
