I just installed windows xp to my laptop and it keeps asking for a password plea

Hello,
I instaled windows xp and it kept asking for a password. The prob is that it did not ask for a password during the instalation so I have tried Administrator as username and nothing in the password entry space but it keeps saying wrong password. Any help? Please.

Restart into Safe Mode by tapping Function 8 at startup and log in by clicking the Administrator account icon. If that lets you in without a password, go to Control Panel>User Accounts and create an account for yourself. Restart back into Normal Mode and the new logion page should appear.

If that doesn't work, you did not just install XP and the computer may not even be your own so we cannot help further.
