Ia.Stor.sys corrupt? New Build?

Hey everyone,

Roughly a week after my build was finished I booted it up this morning to see the "Start-Up Repair" boxes come up.

Here is what it says

Problem Signature 03: unknown
Problem Signature 04: 21200444
Problem Signature 05: Autofailover
Problem Signature 06: 2
Problem Signature 07: Corrupt File
Locale ID: 1033

Later on I found out this..

Boot Critical file D:\windows\system32\drivers\iastor.sys is corrupt.

I don't even have a D drive!

Using a Hitachi 1.5TB harddrive.

Does anyone have any suggestions or reccommendations? I'm really worried now!

I'm about to just wipe reformat and re-install.

Are you sure that you do not have a USB memory stick plugged in? If not I think that it would be a good idea to reinstall the operating system rather than trying to repair it. However I strongly suggest that you run a memory test program such as memtest86 overnight in case you have memory problems.

Also did the mem test, no results.
