my windows media player is unwatchable as the colours are all out of sync.ie bright blues / greens and reds.
Any help welomed

If the problem is only related to the player then I think you need better codecs. If the problem persists in all applications then it is something related to graphic drivers of GPU. Either way we need more details: GPU name + temperature, PSU specifications.
