PCI Slots

Currently I have EVGA 141-BL-E760-A1 Classified mobo. The one and only PCI slot is taken up by my Wireless WMP600N card. I plan to keeping the PCIe slot as a standby, and have two PCI Express (x16/8) slots sometimes referred to as video card slots, that I don't plan on using for SLI.

My question is: "Can I plug in a regular PCI card (like a TV capture card) meant for a PCI slot, into this PCI Express (x16/8) slot?"

I asked this question to techs at computer retailers and got mixed, conflicting, answers of yes, no, and maybe. I think that this forum will disseminate information to others interested in doing this. Your response in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
