Stability of overclocked i5 2500k

I have an intel core i5 2500k overclocked to 4.7 ghz aftermarket coole (hyper 212 (two fans)) and voltage set to 1.35. The max temp i am reading is 75C on 100% load, is this safe?

  1. Yes, that is safe though you would probably want to keep it at 4.5 Ghz and under since you probably won't notice much of a performance boost after that. I'd say run the max clock you can with load temps around 65C.
  2. Not bad I got my set @ 4.5 with voltage 1.3 I got It up to 4.7 but I don't think it's worth the extra voltage for little performance. What are your idle temps?
