Stability of overclocked i5 2500k Tags: CPUs Core Intel Intel i5 Overclocking Last response: January 8, 2012 3:59 AM in Overclocking Share bravo95 January 7, 2012 6:43:30 PM I have an intel core i5 2500k overclocked to 4.7 ghz aftermarket coole (hyper 212 (two fans)) and voltage set to 1.35. The max temp i am reading is 75C on 100% load, is this safe? I'd say run the max clock you can with load temps around 65C. residentdean January 8, 2012 3:59:36 AM Not bad I got my set @ 4.5 with voltage 1.3 I got It up to 4.7 but I don't think it's worth the extra voltage for little performance.
