Hello,

I've been stumped for quite a while so I'm looking for fresh opinions.
Recently I put together an i7 build, specs:

i7-860 cpu
4gb corsair ram
750tw corsair psu
7800gtx (loaner from a friend until 5850 comes out)
Asus p7p55d evo motherboard
WD caviar black 640 gig

and finally, for wireless, a Linksys WMP54G pci adapter.

Everything is working, games run, superPI calculates 1m in 13 secs... (lol my old compy did it in 50)... except wireless.

The linksys is the second card I try (and my router at home is also linksys). I cannot seem to connect to the access point long enough to get an ip address. When i do connect, it's at 18mbps.

Any thoughts? Hardware incompatibility? I'm running windows media center xp 2005 w/ sp3 (waiting till windows 7 comes out).

Thanks
