Performance will be basically the same.

Cooling? Who knows? Unless you can find someone who actually has both and has compared temps.

Get the XFX if you live in the states, dont settle for less...

Here's a tip that's has helped me once a twice when I have had to call tech support. From my observances, it seems when you get your two eeeks of training for tech support, TS101, 1st lesson goes like "Before even letting the customer finish describing the problem, get the customer off the phone ASAP by telling them the problem is their other hardware". So when ya call about the MoBo, they blame the vid card, call about the vid card they blame the MoBo.

They can't do that if you but the Asus model you listed and you have an Asus MoBo. :) So, all things being equal, and they not always are, I minimize the number of manufacturers in a box as much as possible.
