I have a HP DV2000 i just recently got it but i tired turning it on. it works but the screen is black? but power is running in it fine and i took out the rams and turn it on still back and i put 1 rams in and so on but what could be the problem?

it is the graphic card. I had a harsh awakening that it is that, and that is cost 400 - 500 bucks to fix it.
