Dell xps 720

Forum Overclocking : Motherboards Dell xps 720

My mobo is locked down and i am looking for a way to get past it.

 

People said try to use setfsb.. but i really havent a clue how to use it...

 

The mobo is a
model: 0YU822 a00

 


Chipset NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI SPP a2
Chipset NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI MCP a3

 


People also said i could possible flash another bios onto it thats a 680i by evga or something

Dell don't like people messing with the BIOS on Dell machines, so thay tend to lock them down. I believe the 'Extreme' edition (extreme CPU's) dell machines allow you to overclock. You shoudl be able to use NTune or setfsb or softfsb to overclock.

i know this, and i stated this.. this is why im asking if i can flash a simular bios over the dell stock bios to unlock it.
