  1. If you want to use the i3/i5 on board graphics go H55, if you want cf/sli then p55
  2. basically it comes down to are you going to be gaming with upgradable graphics (sli/xfire), if so go with the p55, if not go with the h55, either way if you want me to help you pick one out i will.

if you do just give me your price limit and what you want to use the system for.
  3. hi requiemsallure!

not sure if you are still offering, but i could definitely use some expert advice on mobo selection. here's what i plan to do/use:

    BUDGET: ~200usd
    CPU: i5 661
USE: - heavy software development (3-4 concurrent java IDE's)
    - run light database for above
    - running java based application/web server(s)
    - browsers
    - mp3 players
    - occasional video editing (Adobe Premier)
    - encoding the above video
    - light online gaming

that's about it. any help would be immensely appreciated!

  4. That dual-core i5 chip doesn't make any sense, especially with what you want the system to do. You can get the quad-core i5 750 for $5 less. Is the $200 budget just for the motherboard? This is an excellent P55 board with an updated Lotes socket and SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0.

    GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3 LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $134.99
