down loaded films onto sandisk cruzer 16gb.

Hello,I have been downloading films and transfering them on to my usb to watch through my sumvision media player.Films bigger than 1gb seem to be missing the last 10 to 30 minutes?? why is this.I have tried reformating but it still does it.

Check the specs on your media player to make sure it will read the format of movies you are watching. Did you try the movie playback on the computer?

Did you try the movie playback on the computer?[/quote The spec say's it should play it.The films play fine at the start,good picture and sound but their not playing all the way through to the end??Their missing any where from 10 minutes to 30 minutes.It depends on the size of the film i think?1gb and over seem to be getting the ends cut off?I've tried the usb in a laptop and the desktop and the films play all the way through.It seem's to be a problem with the sumvision micro media player?I can not find a solution for this?I've looked on the net and in a few forums and it seem's this is happening to other people as well Thanks for the suggestions and if you have any more tips or come across the answer i would be extreamly gratefull. If using Fat32, try changing to ntfs format - should not matter for 1 gig files but worth a try.

And yes it is probably your software. I often put 1 gig dot vobs on a thumdrive for playback. Use several laptops and desktops and no problem.

Note: for a Blu-ray file you must use ntfs as the largest file that can be written to Fat32 is 4 gig and a single blu-ray is often between 14 Gigs->40 gigs. And yes I also put them on a tumbdrive so I can watch on Plane vs using the Blu-ray Diskdrive.
