Will they play nice together?

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core

The reason I ask: Asus does not list this processor on the compatibility list. However, on Newegg, several people on the mobo review have "955 BE" on their component list.

When someone is talking about a "955 BE" is this the processor they are talking about?

Thanks!

The normal X4 955 (non-black edition) is on the list, so you'll be fine

There is no non black edition 955, all x2 550s, x3 720s, and x4 955s and x4 965s are black editions. That board will work just fine with a 955, as its actually newer than the processor.
