Compaq presario v6000 bit upgrading

I have a compaq presario ( v6000 ) 2gb ram 32 bit processor geniune vista.I wish to upgrade my laptop,how far can I upgrade ram and bit of my system without losing my genuine windows vista.

Your genuine Vista will only disappear if you change your motherboard, which is practically impossible on a laptop. Feel free to upgrade your RAM, and even your CPU if you can. I'd suggest you save up for a brand new laptop though; yours won't last long, in terms of being able to run apps.
