Cannot find specified file make sure you specify the correct path and file name

Hello, I get the message: error copying file or folder, cannot copy (file name): cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name. This come up when I try to transfer unencrypted, unprotected audio files to a Trio A1000 4GB MP3 player. Also when I open the player, it indicates being full, yet there are no files on it!! It shows a full blue disk, but zero files.
Any suggestions?
