what ones better for the price they have?
im prety sure they both will do the job i need(fallout3 on high settings, and to last a while)
i just want to know what one is a better deal and if either one will preform better

The 4870 is the stronger of the two, the 5770 performs similarly to the 4870 in DX10 games, even with improved drivers i doubt the 5750 will surpass the performance of the 4870.

Yes just make sure you have a PSU capable of handling it.

Do you have the full specs/model of the 550W? Even a mediocre one should do the job, but no harm in checking to be sure.
