I think I need a SATA cable for my hard drives

I have been researching for awhile now on building a PC.
This is my first build and I know that everything is going to function properly.
I posted many questions on this forum and thank everyone for their help.

As I was talking to my friend about my first build he asked if I have the SATA cables for my hard drives. So I went back onto new egg to see if the hard drives come with the cable, but I don't think they do.

I am going to purchase two 500GB Seagate Hard Drives and put them into RAID 1.

What SATA cables should I purchase?

My case is a NZXT Lexa S

I heard that because of some clearance issues a right-angles SATA cable is recommended.

The motherboard comes with SATA cables as long as you didn't buy a Open Box motherboard.

Also, try ang get 2x Samsung F3s if doing RAID. Also, why not consider a HAF 922 or a Antec 900 for a little more?

Would I need any SATA connectors for my DVD ROM and DVD+R?
or are all there enough cables on the motherboard? I have a feeling that it does not.

Ah... yes. You'r board only comes with 2x SATA and 1x eSATA cables. Yes, you'll need a SATA cable.

As far as specs goes, looks good. But still consider the cases I mentioned before. Also, would you live near a Microcenter?

You might also want to consider not getting the DVD-ROM drive unless copying discs directly is going to be a major activity. You could save by not needing another SATA cable, too.

Listed on the ASUS website:http://asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=j02KziJq95KbCQNm&templete=2 in the specifications tab, it says that it will come with 4x SATA cables. You require 3x SATA cables because, 2 for your 500GB SATA hard drives and 1 for your DVD drive. Anymore inquires, please reply

^ Doesn't matter much about brand. Just get a 20-24" cable and you should be fine.
