P6X58D pwr_fan connector

On this board, i have a 3 pin pwr_fan connector. I bought a corsair 850 HX modular power supply, and it does not have a connector that fits that socket. I did read somewhere that it comes with a molex - 4 pin adapter which is supposed to be used for pwr-fans, but obviously that won't fit a 3 pin.

Is this a bid deal? Should i just leave it be?

I am a little confused at what you are asking, but I'll take a couple guesses.

- The Power supply has a fan, however it is in the PSU and controlled by the PSU, no external connection is required (or possible).

- Board fan connectors are for plugging fans into (no connection needed from PSU)
