Question about mobo/cpu combo

I need some thoughts on this mobo/cpu combo for playing modern games please. Although iam thinking of getting a 5770 or 4860, i dont know if this is the best choice. Iam actually building a new computer but I am not sure if it's worth getting this with $300 CAD. Or should i get a cheaper mobo/cpu instead of getting this to lower my budget since it is at $600-700 CAD? Thanks.
