Any advise is appreciated. Thanks in advance...

If you dont play very graphic intensive games, then you should wait and check out the HD 5770 which is slated to be released this month...
They should be available under $200 and are powerful too...
So with the money saved, invest on better CPU like the i5, which is more required for other stuffs...

Here are some changes

CASE - Antec 300 Illusion - Has far better air flow than that HEC and is of good quality...

CPU + Mobo + RAM
i7 + ASUS P55 + GSkillz RAM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.263459

Monitor -

And as for including an SSD, I would suggest you this setup...

Intel 80GB - For OS and apps - ~$230

http://www.costcentral.com/proddetail/Intel_X25_M_Mainstream_Solid_State_Drive/SSDSA2MH080G2C1/10898198/froogle/

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10010790&prodlist=froogle

And a good 500GB HDD for rest of the data...
Samsung F3 500GB - $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181

Total cost - ~$280
This would be a far better setup...

Thanks (again) for steering me in the right direction. I've got a 10k WD HDD from my old comupter I was going to use as a 2nd HDD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136012) do you think it's worth the $50 to get a new HDD just to be on the safe side?

^ Yes it is well worth it to get the new HDD...The HDD fills up very fast...I dont think that 150GB would suffice...And that HDD is a very one and that too for that price...

But if you feel you wont need more than 150GB, then you can postpone buying the new HDD...
